Japanese Black Tea Italicus Spritz

A refined riff on the classic spritz, this cocktail features black tea–infused Italicus, an Italian bergamot liqueur, topped with crisp Prosecco and soda water. The bold tannins of Japanese black tea balance beautifully with Italicus’s citrusy floral notes, creating a sparkling sip that’s refreshing, complex, and perfect for warm afternoons or golden hour gatherings.

Ingredients:

  • 1-1.5 oz Black tea-infused Italicus

  • Prosecco

  • Soda water

  • Optional: garnish with lemon or flower

Instructions:

  1. Brew black tea and let it cool.

  2. In a shaker, combine Italicus, black tea, and shochu.

  3. Put in ice and shake.

  4. Pour into cocktail glass.

  5. Optional: garnish with lemon or flower.

Note: This is just for presentation. In reality, the ice cube will dilute this drink, so I’d serve it without ice.
