It was raining, we were hungry, and Yoshino Chaya happened to be right along our path. So we ducked inside for shelter, expecting a simple snack. Nestled right by the entrance to Chionji Temple, Yoshino Chaya Tea House offers a cozy place to sit back and enjoy classic delights such as Chie no Mochi rice cakes.
